Fullerton, Chino Valley & Pomona Valley Swap Guidelines

In order to have a successful event, all attendees must read and abide by the following guidelines to participate.

Thanks for your interest in peace. love. swap., a local community event! While we focus on bringing together local families, those in nearby communities are welcome to participate. The information below is important & will answer many of your questions as well as swap day easier for you (and us!).

Thanks for taking the time to read it.

The items on the swap floor are for the benefit of the moms that participate. Consider anything you take away from the swap free from now on. Please do not take anything with the intention of reselling it. Leftover items are donated to local charities, with priority given to charities that distribute the items for free.

share the love...save some green. If you know other moms or dads who would enjoy the rewards of swapping, invite them! More swappers mean more stuff for everyone to choose from.

For good swapping karma:

1. Donate generously - Bring CLEAN items in good working order, clothing without stains, holes, tears and that are in new to gently worn condition.

2. Leave at home recalled, overly worn, unsafe, and non-working items.

3. Bring back swap finds you've now outgrown, but are still in great condition.

4. Share this event with everyone--- moms and dads you know and meet, grandparents, your moms' groups, daycare, preschool, etc.

5. Remember that this is meant to be a FUN event about recycling, reusing, sharing, generosity, and community.

Random tips:

  •  Bring your own (preferably reusable) shopping bag. (No trash bags will be allowed.)
  • Exact change is appreciated.
  • Please do not bring strollers to the swap floor unless absolutely necessary. We encourage baby carriers and the handy use of spouses.
  • No swappers are allowed onto the swap floor prior to swap time. To be fair to all swappers, no peeking is allowed, so please don’t ask.
  • Admission is $7 (or $5.00 prepaid online) per swapper (not per family)-- A swapper is anyone who goes onto the swap floor to collect items.
  • Don’t let your kids bring items that they may set down and lose or mistaken for a swap item.
  • Rude or aggressive behavior will not be tolerated and you will be asked to leave.

Most of all, have fun!!!

peace. love. swap. is about community and supporting each other. Between all of us, there is plenty to go around. The swaps happen on a regular basis, so there is always another chance to swap.
